Assessment of value orientation affected by movies among adolescents of selected higher secondary school

Abstract
At present when social, moral, cultural and spiritual values are disintegrating, when religion is losing its hold, power and knowledge are misused and indiscipline, corruption, violence are fast spreading, it is essential that education should be value oriented. A Research was done with the purpose to assess the level of value orientation through movies among adolescents of 16-18 years of selected higher secondary school.10 adolescents were selected through non probability purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was done by descriptive and inferential statistics, Mean score of adolescents of higher secondary school students was 172.9, this value indicated, that selected adolescents of govt higher secondary school were under higher level of value orientation. Thus the study revealed that there is no association with the selected socio demographic variables regarding value orientation affected by movies.
